Seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity in New Albany, Ohio. Leads business requirements elicitation sessions with Business teams, Product Owners and IT stakeholders. Documents current-state and future-state business processes to help define the work within teams you support.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops to define MVP, must-have, and future-state capabilities.
- Partner with solution vendors and implementation partners to evaluate system capabilities and identify process gaps.
- Analyze impacts to upstream and downstream systems, integrations, reports, and operational procedures.
- Support data mapping activities across source systems, interfaces, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in defining master data, compliance data, trade classifications, inventory, customs, and shipment-related requirements.
- Create and maintain process documentation, requirements traceability, decision logs, and project artifacts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of BA experience leading medium to large enterprise system implementations
- Experience working in Agile and Hybrid project delivery environments
- Experience gathering requirements across multiple business functions
- Experience in Sourcing, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Customs, or Trade Compliance processes as well as retail is a plus
